The Middlesex Small-Bore Rifle Association exists to bring together small-bore rifle and airgun clubs located within the County of Middlesex, and organise teams to represent the County in competitions. We also represent our clubs and shooters at the national level, through the NSRA.
On this site you will find details of Middlesex Clubs, Events, Competitions and Open Meetings, as well as entry forms to download and some competition results and team scores.
Please note, some pages are restricted and can only be seen by registered users who have logged in. Members of clubs affiliated to the MSBRA and those who have competed in our competitions are welcome to register by contacting their Club Secretary, or the meeting organiser.
Shooting is one of the most accessible of all sports. It doesn't matter if you are young or old, male or female, able-bodied or disabled, shooting enables you to compete. Most clubs accept new members from around the age of 12, and many shooters continue well into their eighties. Although there are some competitions only for women, most allow men and women to compete against each other on an equal footing. In fact, the British Smallbore Rifle Championship was won by a woman from 2008 to 2011! Disabled shooters are well catered for, with special equipment available to negate the effects of many disabilities. Even the blind can shoot!

If you are an established shooter, either already a member of a Middlesex Club or perhaps moving to the area, this site is for you. As well as details of our clubs, you will find information on all the competitions we run for Middlesex shooters and others, results of previous competitions, and articles from our newsletter.
To get the most from the site, you will need to apply for a user account. You are eligible for an account if you are a member of an affiliated club, or have entered one of our Open Meetings. Your Club Secretary, or the meeting organiser, will have to countersign your application.

Middlesex has produced a number of top-flight marksmen and women over the years, and the Middlesex Small-Bore Rifle Association is proud to have supported them. For many club shooters, their first taste of competition might be our Postal Leagues for Club teams, shot on your own club's range. The next step is often attending Open Meetings at other ranges, such as our Championship Meetings. We run County teams in various National leagues and competitions - you may be asked to take part sooner than you might think!
Beyond county competitions, there are week-long National meetings in England and Scotland, Home Countries teams, Great Britain matches, and national development squads leading to world cup matches and ultimately Commonwealth Games and the Olympics.

The County of London has not had a fully functioning County Association for some years. The NSRA has spent considerable time consulting with interested parties to attempt to alleviate the situation for the affected shooters.
